Teaching fundamentals to the above teams allowed players to improve and build winning teams

I have thirty-three years of head basketball coaching experience (boys & girls) during forty-one years of teaching high school in New York City (Martin Luther H.S.), Chicago (Luther H.S. South), Chicago suburbs (H.D.Jacobs H.S.) and New Canaan, CT. (St. Luke’s head JV girls, / 2016 FAA JV tournament).  I am experienced at running general camps for boys and girls, fifth grade through high school. Two summers I specifically ran a shooting camp for middle school and high school.

Teaching fundamentals to the above teams allowed players to improve and build winning teams, which brings satisfaction to me.

At Concordia University in Nebraska I was a member of the basketball and baseball team for four years.  At Concordia High School I was part of four state championship teams, one basketball, two baseball and one football.  This became a great platform on which to build my coaching career. I am Coach of the Year in Illinois (’80) as a result of winning a state basketball championship. District and Local Coach of the Year honors were also awarded over the years. I was able to help players produce one or more league championships at each school.

SDC Scholarship Camps and Academies fundamental approach, will allow me to do all the fundamental instruction as well as have players earn college scholarship credit.
